How You Can Use Creative Tests to Get a Totally Transparent View of Your Brand's Competitors Ad Accounts
Want a transparent look into your competitors' ad strategy? Spyder’s Creative Tests tab shows exactly which ads they launch, when they launch them, and which ones stay live, so you can start where they stopped testing.

What if you could see the change history in your competitors' ad accounts?
This is a huge insight and as an agency and I recommend you share this insight with your brands in a screen share.

In Spyder, when you move over to the Creative Tests tab and you'll be able to see every ad they launch exactly when they launch it.
This could be a direct competitor that your brand is very interested in or it could be a fast growing competitor, someone who is in your market and just trailblazing.
It doesn't even have to be in your market.
If the brands that you're working with are interested in what the wider market is doing, this might be an interesting analysis for 10 minutes of your time.

If we look atcCreative Tests, I can see every time a brand like Spacegoods or any advertiser launches a new batch of creative tests.
And I can see the ads that survive out of these creative tests.

For example, if I scroll down to May 14th, 2025.
I can see that they launched 66 ads and only 1 of them is still active.
Unless the marketing team at Spacegoods are in the game of burning money, we can assume that this ad worked.
Unless they keep on their worst performing ads.
No one does that, especially not brands as fast-roaring as Spacegoods.
When you do your creative tests, they might be built off of 66 ads, but ads that actually passed the test for other brands.
This is where your starting point is, where their creative tests finished.
With the ads that won their creative tests.
And once we find those winners, You can copy and paste that into a chat.
You can save it to your Swipe File.
You can save it to a board.

Let's say it's our Father's Day campaign, we can find ads and add them to our Father's Day board.
We can also do an AI analysis, pull that transcript and better understand our customer hands-free.
We don't have to pull it into ChatGPT and then send it into Claude and then put it into a very complicated Gumloop workflow.
Don't get me wrong. There's a use case for that.
But this is for the person who wants to use AI without the learning curve.
We're trying to make it as simple as possible for you and your team to get creative insights.
The Creative Tests tab is a transparent view of any advertisers ad account.
Taking a look at their ad account history, which ads they're launching, which ones they keep turned on, and which ones they keep turned off.
This is an incredible insight.
Your clients are going to love it, and you can even use this in your sales pitches to better communicate that you really know your stuff.
And that's how you can use creative tests to get a totally transparent view of your brand's competitors ad accounts.
